Dmitry Kurnosov

Dmitry Kurnosov is a Carlsberg Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Helsinki. He earned his LL.M at the Central European University in Budapest, and worked as a deputy spokesperson of the Russian Constitutional Court in 2011-2016. Dmitry then completed his Ph.D at the University of Copenhagen. His dissertation centered on how the European Court of Human Rights approaches electoral issues. Dmitry’s research deals with different facets of democracy and human rights, including election integrity and the political aspects of regulating social media platforms.
